ok you might have seen these crocheted rocks floating around the blog world and Raina's recent rant on her blog ifthelampshadefits has me posting this painted version of the crocheted rock by recent etsy featured seller Geninne! I actually love the painted version as a fabulous paper weight and decorative piece, maybe a great door stop as well? Would love to see a giant rock painted a la doily style- just imagine stumbling upon a giant rock on the beach or forest all crocheted up! Calls to mind the urban knitters of NYC who go around covering lamposts and trees with their knitting!
Also I love this look below, I call it "Wearing Your Breakfast"
