Bright Star (2009) by YES, we like MOVIES !.
Jane Campion's film Bright Star is a sensual feast that explores the life of poet John Keats and his unrequited love affair with Fanny Braun in 19th century England. It incorporates his spoken poetry, the English countryside and themes of love, loss, and exuberance for life!
Assignment 1: For this first week's assignment we'll explore the 5 senses touch, taste, sight, sound and smell using specific compositions from the film (which we'll capture using a camera) to discover how they can be visually expressed and explored effectively in your own work.
