During the Tour Armstrong rode various Trek Madone's painted and stylized by famous artists, all of which will be auctioned off in NYC. The one ridden in the final stage into Paris was designed and produced by Damien Hirst with real butterflies lacquered into the paint job.

The Yoshitomo Nara Speed Concept Time trial bike that Armstrong rode during Stage 18 of the 2009 Tour de France. Written on the top tube is the saying never forget your beginners spirit! Good advice for any venue.
Great meshing of two of our passions- bicycling and art all brought together in the worlds greatest sporting event!

Nice idea- bicycling and art brought together- the way these bicycles look as structures is an art in itself-moving sculpture! So its more like painting and sculpture coming together...fUN!
By the way, I love your wildflowers...
