Chagall makes fantasy adult and believable

With Chagall fantasy is no longer in the hands of children. His fantasies are whimsical and childlike while transcending childhood and entering the realm of adults. The colors and the movement bring to mind stories from childhood while no longer seeing bunnies with bow ties and top hats we now see couples involved in adult relationships whose minds travel to the dreams of their childhood.

*happy sigh* I simply adore Chagall, he's one of my very favorite artists ever. So lovely to see him here. :)
