We've been watching the Tour de Suisse cycling race live and it has us craving the mountains! The closest we could get was a drive down to Shenandoah National Park yesterday and it was pretty stunning! We saw a cat, a black bear, lots of deer, were warned of a black bear on the path we were hiking on but never saw him! eek! Incredible views, smores and beans a giant moonlit ride home, more photos coming soon!

What a beautiful layered landscape! I'm glad you didn't meet the black bear, sounds dangerous!
