We got our first bushel of Fall apples last week and the jays have been squacking outside. Stepped on some acorns. Tom is cleaning all the windows (so we can have an unobstructed view of the leaves changing colors) and after all the freaky rain, hurricanes, backyard mushroom growth and earthquakes it finally feels like Fall is here! The first crisp cool non-humid day we've had almost all month! Apple butter babies!
