Map Love

If you've signed up for our online art course this=this+that you''ll know of my fondness for maps! I especially love these recent finds:

This quilt by Hi+Low (image found via Lena Corwin) which combines maps of Paris, London, Tokyo, and New York. I love the simplicity, texture of lines, and lime green trim! (Also interesting to note she made this while pregnant with her first son and the binding was done by her mother!)
I'm also completely smitten with these "childrens" floor maps of european cities posted by L'Articho! The bright neon colors, whimsical characters and interactive qualities have me floored!

j'adore!

(ps Son of the Beach print now available in a new size and price! Plus a new top secret project in the works, I hope to share soon!)

I used to date a guy that had a giant map as his rug. It was really fun - it was a mash up of cities in Europe!
